Prof. Urbasi Sinha (Professor, RRI-Bangalore)
Prof. Urbasi Sinha is the Principal Investigator of project titled "Long Distance Quantum Communication: Repeaters and Relay Technologies (Q-97)". She's currenty working as Professor in Light and Matter Physics Group at Raman Research Institute (RRI), Bangalore. Her research interests broadly classify as Photonic Quantum Science and Technologies. She works on experimental and theoretical aspects of Secure Quantum Communications, Quantum Computing, Quantum Optics as well as Precision Tests of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information Processing. She's also heading India's first project on satellite based QKD: Quantum Experiments using Satellite Technology(www.rri.res.in/quic/landing_QKD.php).
